On October 16-17, 2023, CPI hosted a kick-off conference at Stanford University for The Voices Project, an international collaborative initiative to develop a nationally-representative, cross-nationally comparable, and public-use immersive interviewing platform, modeled on CPI's American Voices Project. Nearly 40 researchers representing ten countries participated.
