Postdoctoral Fellowship Opportunity at Stanford

Applications are now being accepted for a post-doctoral fellowship at Stanford University under the direct supervision of Dr. Sanjay Basu (Center for Population Health Sciences, and Stanford Health Policy), with additional support from Drs. David Grusky and David Rehkopf (Center on Poverty and Inequality). The position is funded by the National Institutes of Health’s New Innovator Award.

The fellow will be able to conduct research on population health and healthcare effects of social and public health policies and programs, and be provided unique access to large datasets available at the Stanford Centers (Stanford Center for Population Health Sciences and Stanford Center on Poverty and Inequality). The fellow will be expected to first-author peer-reviewed publications in fields potentially including but not limited to sociology and health policy, machine learning and large-scale data analytics, and biostatistics and epidemiology. The fellowship is a 24-mo. appointment starting as early as June 2018, and carries a salary rate of $72,000 plus $6,000 for research expenses.
