Irene Lo is currently a postdoctoral scholar in the Economics department at Stanford University, and will join Stanford's Department of Management Science & Engineering as an assistant professor in Fall 2019. She received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University, and her PhD in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research from Columbia University. Her research is on designing matching markets and assignment processes to improve market outcomes, with a focus on public sector applications and socially responsible operations research. She is also interested in mechanism design for social good and graph theory.
