California represents the hopes and successes that people have pursued for generations, yet too many Californians find themselves working harder and harder for less and less. In 2013, 40 percent of Californians lived in poverty or near the poverty line. Nearly 1.5 million working families in California are living in poverty, as well as nearly two out of every five young adults.

We exist to provide relief, cultivate restoration and model reinvestment among the poor and marginalized in Elmhurst and Corona as a demonstration of the love of God.

Amherst H. Wilder Foundation

The mission of the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation is to promote the social welfare of persons resident or located in the greater Saint Paul metropolitan area by all appropriate means including:
Relief of the poor
Care of the sick and aged
Care and nurture of children
Aid of the disadvantaged and otherwise needy
Promotion of physical and mental health
Support of rehabilitation and corrections
