Lukas Althoff is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Stanford University. He studies the causes and consequences of economic progress and inequality using tools from applied microeconomics and economic history. He was a SIEPR Postdoctoral Fellow after receiving his PhD from Princeton University in 2023.
