Amid inaction by the federal government, some state and local governments have pursued policies to reduce gender inequality, such as raising the minimum wage and guaranteeing paid leave. Efforts by private organizations to address gender inequality often focus on reducing stereotypic biases, delivering unconscious or implicit bias training, or formalizing the employee evaluation process.
